October 8th Meeting is Cancelled

The DGI board made the difficult decision to cancel our October 8th meeting due to last-minute conflicts by two of our state superintendent candidates, Nichelle Henderson and Josh Newman. (Nichelle has to attend a closed session board meeting on the same night as our meeting; Andra Hoffman, another candidate who was invited, also has a conflict with a board meeting that same night.)

We will invite Nichelle, Josh, Andra, Assemblyman Al Muratsuchi and our other Democratic state superintendent candidates to a future DGI meeting.

BUT... Our November 12th Meeting Is Already Lined Up!

We already have our Wednesday, November 12th meeting in place, which will take place at 7pm at St Andrew's Church on Barranca with our pizza social still at 6:30pm! 🍕😊

Cesar Covarrubias, the Executive Director of The Kennedy Commission will present an informative and lively talk about the state of affordable housing development in Irvine and OC. Cesar oversees the advocacy, education and outreach activities that support affordable housing solutions throughout Orange County.
